If you arrive in Naples by train
Arriving at the Central Station, Piazza Garibaldi, take Metro Line 1, or Tram Line 1 or the bus R2, to Piazza Municipio, to join the Molo Beverello, the fast lines harbour (for passengers only) to reach the islands of the Gulf of Naples.
Or you can take the, taxi out of the station, next the ticket office. The price is determined by the meter, but can also be a fixed of 11 euros.
Passengers without vehicles can also take a ferrie from Molo Calata Porta di Massa, the Stazione Marittima (maritime station) a few steps from Via Marina (access from Varco Pisacane or Varco Immacolatella Vecchia). The Tram stop (line 1) is very close.
At Piazzale Angioino (near Piazza Municipio and Beverello), there is a shuttle service to Molo Calata Porta di Massa.
From Naples, arriving by car
From March to late October and from the 20th of December to the 7th of January, private cars of non-residents are prohibited to boarding for Capri.
Since the release of Naples follow the signs for the port. It drives along Via Marina to get Piazza Municipio and from there to the Molo Beverello.
Alternatively, along Via Marina, you will reach Varco Pisacane or Varco Immacolatella Vecchia, and from there Calata Porta di Massa, the only dock in Naples from which you can transport the cars on the island with fast ships ferry (CAREMAR).
If you arrive by plane
Naples Airport Capodichino is a few kilometers from the city. The connections for the Beverello and Calata Porta di Massa is provided by the line ALIBUS ANM (stop in Piazza Municipio).

Arriving by Sorrento (by car or other)
From the city of Sorrento, you can quickly reach the island using sea routes (ferries and hydrofoils) from the Marina Piccola, Caremar (The fast ferries) and Consorzio Linee Marittime Partenopee (fast lines and ferries).
From March to October, and from the 20th of December to the 7th of January, cars of non-residents can not embark for Capri.
